SGC Updates 10/30/06
Hello and welcome SGC!
We had over 70 folks attend our Potluck Kickoff on Leonard Mountain. The Roundup Boys played Oklahoma Bob Wills style music, which was a gentle backdrop for good conversation and good food in the rural setting at the Scott farm. Children made swords out of sticks, picked pears off the pear tree, and climbed on the natural boulders, as adults met new friends and discovered the rich, diverse culture, right here in our own back yard.

Trash pilot programs in Tulsa
Laureen Gilroy, recycling coordinator, City of Tulsa writes SGC:
We’re looking for people who are interested in once-a-week curbside recycling to take part in a voluntary demo project. The catch is they have to live in areas where there is a hauler willing to take part in the pilot, too.
