Turley Garden Party — a sustainable event and transformative urban garden project

Sponsored by “Let Turley Bloom” gardening group and Rev. Ron & Bonnie Robinson

Location: “a third place” community center, 6514 N. Peoria Ave. in Turley

9 a.m. to Noon: outside: creating a transformative urban flower bed out front from reusable materials.

9 a.m. to Noon: Indoors: “Green Info” from community groups; children’s activities; benefit book and garage sale; documentaries and films

Noon to 1 p.m.: “Garden of Eatin’” Veggie Soup and Pizza Lunch

Noon to 2 p.m.: Documentaries and Films and children’s activities

2 to 3 p.m.: Support Circle–”taking it home”

Documentaries and Films include: Greenfingers, Maxed Out, Affluenza, Wildflowers
